With eleven recreational lakes (aside from the one reservoir lake), three beaches and two full-service marinas, Hot Springs Village welcomes you to enjoy fun in the sun in North America’s largest gated community nestled in the Ouachita Mountains.
Whether you swim, boat, fish, water ski or just kick back and relax at one of the lakeside beach pavilions, you’ll be sure to enjoy one of America’s best kept secrets. Take out your boat, canoe, kayak or paddle board for an up-close and personal experience that is Hot Springs Village.
Lake Balboa
Serving as the largest lake in Hot Springs Village, it offers 944 acres for fishing, swimming, and water sports alike. A beach area has fine sand with shelters, additional picnic tables and grills available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The pavilion will seat up to 300 people and has a public announcement system, picnic tables, restrooms, grills and a fireplace. A full-service marina provides boat rentals, covered and non-covered slip rentals, fishing tackle, grocery items and much more. Sunset Cruises are also available.
Lake Coronado
A reservoir lake, Lake Coronado is the second largest body of water in the Hot Springs Village area at about 380 acres with a maximum depth of about 70 feet. With ample opportunities to fish, swim and enjoy water sports, it’s sure to be a warm weather hot spot. Boat slip rentals are available at the Lake Coronado marina. Indoor exercise is available at the Coronado Natatorium and Fitness Center where you will also find a heated indoor pool perfect for water aerobics and winter swimming.
Lake Cortez
Lake Cortez is 245 acres, 65 feet deep and has a boat ramp and covered pavilion located off Carmona Road. The Cortez Pavilion is covered and has picnic tables, fireplace, grills, restrooms, PA system, and volleyball equipment. The Cortez Beach is pea gravel and has picnic tables, grills and restroom facilities available. Fishing, swimming, and water sports are allowed. The boating speed limit is set at 30 mph with no-wake zones running within 100 feet of the shoreline.
Lake Desoto
Lake DeSoto is spread across 200 acres and has a boat ramp and full-service marina and sandy swim beach. Located off DeSoto Boulevard, non-covered rental slips are available, as well as boat, canoe, and paddle boat rentals. The DeSoto Beach features pea gravel, picnic tables and grills. Fishing, swimming and water sports are allowed. To preserve the tranquil environment of the community, jet skis, power racing boats and boats without mufflers are prohibited.
Lake Estrella
Lake Estrella is approximately 21 acres and has a boat ramp located off Panorama Drive. Fishing and swimming are allowed. Towing sports are not.
Lake Granada
Lake Granada is 54 acres and has a boat ramp located off Gusta Lane. Fishing and swimming are allowed, however, skiing is not. The speed limit on this lake is an easy 20 mph.
Lake Isabella
Lake Isabella is 25 acres and has a boat ramp located off Pillar Lane. Fishing and swimming are allowed, water sports are not. Speed limit is NO WAKE.
Lake Maria
Lake Maria is 27 acres and has a boat ramp located off Linares Lane. Fishing and swimming are allowed, towing sports are not. The speed limit is NO WAKE.
Lake Pineda
Lake Pineda is 62 acres and has a boat ramp located off Camino Road. Fishing and swimming are allowed, water sports are not. Speed limit is 20 mph.
Lake Segovia
Lake Segovia is approximately 11 acres and does not have a boat ramp. Fishing and swimming are allowed, water sports are not. Speed limit is NO WAKE.
Lake Sophia
Lake Sophia is approximately 36 acres and has a boat ramp located off El Cano Drive. Fishing and swimming are allowed. Towing sports are not. The speed limit is NO WAKE.
Lake Lago (reservoir)
Lake Lago is the Village’s water reservoir. People, fishing and boats are not allowed at any time.
