Structural Integrity

Setting your home on a firm foundation is paramount. Our new home builds typically come with a 10 yr. structural warranty, based upon a spread footing design with rebar. We help to ensure that our best effort is given here by requiring that your home’s footings are dug with a 2ft wide bucket.

If your home is raised with a crawl space/basement, we have pre-engineered the floor system for your exact home, with weight loads located directly over beams/piers. Homes on a slab receive special attention as well. Your slab will either have a thickened slab along some key pressure points OR underground piers to help support the slab, depending on conditions.

One of the best ways to check us out is to schedule a site visit to some of our current projects, including a visit to a completed home or two. This way you can see first-hand our construction quality and then visit with some of our homeowners who live in their Renaissance Home.

  • Foam gasket around edge of walls keeps loose air locked out
  • Ultra Caulk and Seal package reduces dust and continues to tighten home against air infiltration

Renaissance Homes has worked with many of our Sub Contractors for over a decade. They all have General Liability and Worker’s Comp Insurance and have signed a Sub Contractor Agreement with Renaissance that helps to ensure some basic quality assurance measures and also establishes a code of conduct that we want to instill on our jobs. Fixed Price Cost Approach

We have built homes with various contractual arrangements and feel that the best and most honest approach to a construction estimate is to stand behind it with an actual hard bid! We take our 130+ cost factors and figure them to the exact house plan and scope of work for each job. The pricing does include allowances for selection items like appliances, light fixtures, etc.. So, you have peace of mind knowing that the primary cost of the home is fixed and that you manage your budget based only upon the few allowance items +/-.
