What Our Customers Have To Say About Us

Charles Riska
After 4+ years of owning my Renaissance Home, we have decided to sell it to a homeowner who will live in it full time. Of all the homes I own across the country, none of them have met the construction quality and attention to detail that I’ve received from Brandon Tedder and his team at Renaissance.

The great thing – Brandon still takes my calls every time I reach out to him and is the same person he was when selling the property. I’d genuinely like to build the exact same home I have here, but in a different market. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to have Renaissance GC it from afar.

I’d be happy to have a conversation with anyone considering a Renaissance home over another builder.

Thank you Brandon and Team Renaissance for a flawless building and ownership experience.

Renaissance Homes built us a beautiful home on Balboa Golf course in Hot Springs Village. We really enjoyed working with Brandon Tedder. He worked with us every step of the process and we feel confident he will be a great partner in the future. Thanks Renaissance Homes!

Renaissance Homes built our home and we moved in on 9/25/24. Brandon and his team are very responsive to issues and today was a good example of their customer service. Due to the rain we received this weekend, we had issues with some areas in our rock and stone covered yard. Brandon had the issues resolved before the close of business today.

We had the pleasure to have Renaissance Homes build our house. It was a great experience the whole team there are exceptional. Brandon (owner) is easy to work with and treated us very well. I worked personally with Sam and Tammi they are wonderful! Always keeping me updated and helped me with the decision making process as I didn’t have a clue. We built a fairly large house and they completed it in less than 5 months!! Very impressed with them. We started off as clients and now they are close friends.

Back in 2015, Kim and I chose Brandon Tedder, Renaissance Homes, to build our custom home in Hot Springs Village. We looked at several builders, and in the end we found Renaissance Homes exceeded many other home builders. Recently Brandon Tedder helped us out on a significant out of warranty issue, and it really sent a message to us that we made the right decision when we chose Renaissance to work with. In addition, Brandon has shown his commitment to HSV by moving his offices from Little Rock to HSV, invested significantly in an office complex just outside the East gate, and continues to work closely with the HSV Board and Architecture and Control Committee to meet HSV needs. If you find yourself in a dilemma as to who to choose for your home build, please consider Renaissance Homes, you will not be disappointed!

The entire Renaissance Team is very professional and a pleasure to deal with. Building a new home can be very stressful. We had no such experience with Brandon and his team! Instead, we wound up with a beautiful, very high-quality home, detailed with all the features we sought, with little-to-no stress involved. If you want to build a home in HSV, you want to do it with Renaissance!

Brandon and Renaissance built our home in 2020 and we couldn’t be happier. With the multitude of builders available, we were very fortunate to work with Renaissance and their very professional subs. If you are building, do yourself a favor and contact Brandon.

“Arkansas is a military-friendly state and does not tax your military pension. We have great local medical care through Tricare providers and 2 V.A. hospitals that are within 30 to 40 minutes of Hot Springs Village.”

“Wife and I bought our home in the hills in 2008. We love this area. It has a lot to offer. Our house is surrounded by the forest and we feed the deer, turkeys and chipmunks. They will actually wait off in the woods for us to throw out their morning and evening food. The tennis here is like one big family. You will have lots of fun and always someone to play with. Bob is a great director and pro for the tennis courts. Come play.”

“Actions speak louder than words: The fact that we are building our THIRD home with Brandon and Renaissance Homes should say a lot. As a retired Air Force pilot, I am used to working with great people that have integrity, and pay close attention to detail. If you want excellence in a builder, Brandon and his team are top notch. Their character, attention to detail, professionalism, and quality product is second to none. Building a home can be a stressful experience, but Renaissance made it a real joy each time. Brandon is extremely easy to work with, and has an impressive passion and energy for homebuilding. We love Renaissance’s expertise and ingenuity too; they are always up to date on the latest energy efficiency and design features. Brandon and his Renaissance team listen to what we want for our house. They keep us informed and involved throughout each step of the building process. Repeat customers tell you a lot about the quality of a business. We highly recommend Renaissance Homes and wouldn’t consider another company.”

“Renaissance Homes, Inc. was great to work. There were a few minor things required after taking possession of our new home however Renaissance Homes completed all of them within days. My wife and I are very happy we decided to have Renaissance Homes, inc. build our new house.”

“We just moved into our new home built by Renaissance Homes and couldn’t be happier with the whole building process from start to finish. Brandon (the builder), Sam (the foreman) and Tammi (the office manager/decorator) were amazing to work with, and seemed nearly as excited about making our dream come true as we were. The quality of workmanship in our new home is impressive. Ours is one of the smaller homes Renaissance builds, but there was no skimping on quality in the details. Here are some comments on different aspects of our building adventure.

Creating a vision: We were able to sit down with Brandon and show him pictures of the look we were going for. He then showed us several floor plans that would work within our price range before coming up with a building contract that incorporated as many details as we could think of. He has a very “can do” attitude about tweaking a plan to fit a specific vision.

Making selections: Tammi kept us continually posted on what selections were coming next, giving us time to think a bit each step of the way. We were able to choose brick, stone, type of concrete, flooring, carpet, paint colors, tile, moldings, doors, fixtures, appliances, and even placement of plugs, switches and tv wiring. I was even allowed to sketch out plans for our front windows, laundry room, and layout of our kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Tammi’s organization of all the details and decisions kept communication among all workers and vendors clear. She was very reassuring and always available to help.

The building process itself: Sam’s high standards for supervising the work subcontractors do shows in details all through the home. He frequently checked with us as things were being done, and was very approachable along the way with ideas like cabinet and laundry room layouts. The twinkle in his eye and the obvious pleasure he takes in perfection wherever possible shine through his at-first super serious foreman exterior. He is meticulous about quality workmanship.

Budget: Brandon’s builder’s selections and construction standards are solid and high quality. We knew in advance about a few extras and upgrades before creating the “scope of work” contract, so included them in the budget. For extras/upgrades that we added after the contract was signed, Tammi was able to give us an idea of how much extra those items might cost so we could decide if we really wanted to add them. We chose to add a privacy wall to the patio, a beautiful inset shelf above the stove, a bit extra for grass in landscaping, and several other extras at a reasonable additional cost. Extras were certainly not necessary, but when we decided to add some, charges were reasonable — there were no scary surprises.

Quality workmanship: We were impressed with the subcontractors’ attention to detail, from the decorative brick work around windows and patio, to impressive moldings and windows, to perfectly polished granite, to creative kitchen cabinetry that makes the most of space. The house is very well insulated, holding heat well on the coldest days. The propane fueled fireplace looks unusually natural and starts with the flip of a wall switch. The end effect makes our 1930 sf home feel quite grand.

Followup: We closed on our home mortgage a couple of weeks ago, but Sam continues to follow up with us to be sure everything is complete and in good working order.

We’d be happy to show off our home. Tammi, feel free to give our contact information to anyone talking with Renaissance about building. Thank you all!”

“We were guided through the entire process--selection of a plan, modifications, design, etc. The advice and assistance we were given were well beyond anything we could have expected. All of the staff were very courteous, helpful, accommodating, a pleasure to work with. The broker and project manager extended themselves to the point of being extremely helpful. The house is perfect for us. The quality and workmanship of all aspects of the house are great--more than we could have expected. We are very pleased. We most highly, and without reservation, recommend Renaissance Homes.”

"I have had the privilege of supplying Renaissance Homes with high end appliances for almost 20 years. Randy and his team are true professionals and really build a superb product. Randy has the experience and vision to succeed in a very competitive market without sacrificing quality. He somehow manages to build very nice homes in the best locations at the right price, while maintaining architectural balance within the neighborhood. I have yet to meet a client that is unhappy with their decision to purchase a Renaissance home. Good job Randy!"
